The RLC party was held on Friday evening after the Charity auction that raised over $70,000 for Childrens Miracle Network. The highlight of the auction were the Hot Wheel prototypes with the unreleased 2014 Corvette Convertible selling for $3500 and a prototype Ferrarri Berlinetta selling for $5500. The winning bidders really wanted those protos and children with special needs will benefit greatly from the winning bidders generosity.
I have been to many different RLC parties during past conventions and without a doubt this is the first one where it seemd as though everyone who was registered at the Nationals was in attendance at the event. This hotel also had the best spread as far as variety of food items; which included skewers with beef and pork, and ravioli along with various vegetable and desert items. Although I did not win any of the various items given away at the event, my wife and I had a very enjoyable evening with out extended Hot Wheels family.
